Mains Fed Water Coolers
You may not be aware of this, but the water delivery company supplies both bottled and bottle-less, or mains fed, water coolers. Perhaps you didn’t even know that it is possible to get bottle-less water coolers. Now you do. But how do mains fed water coolers actually work? With these types of water coolers, the body of the water cooler is linked into the mains water supply. This is taken through a carbon-based filter system which removes 99.99% of impurities from the water. Now that’s good news! Water is then heated and cooled in the water cooler in the usual way. In order to have a mains fed water cooler you will need to have easy access to a mains water supply, as well as an electricity socket within 1.5 metres of where you would want your cooler placed. The disadvantage of such coolers, is that once installed, they’re not easilymoved. Though this may put you off the idea of getting a bottle-less water cooler, they do have their advantages. If you’re finding that the cost of constantly supplying yourself with bottled water is getting too high then these water coolers could save you quite a bit of money. That’s something to smile about.
