Your Lucky Stars
Sometime when I go camping I like to imagine whatlife must have been like hundreds of years ago. You could look up and see the stars. But you didn’t stop there; you could see the whole galaxy. The Milky Way was just something that you got to see every day. Maybe that’s why there were so many things long ago that had to do with the position of the stars. What secrets do the stars hold forus? The problem is that we can’t really see them anymore. There are not too many stars that we could see. Back in the day, people depended on the stars to know all sorts of things.They new what time of night it was, what day of the years it is. The stars could tell them what direction that they were headed. The stars tell all sorts of thing to us. The constellations used to be so easy to see; you could see thousands, millions of stars. When you go up to the mountains you are amazed by how many stars that you see. If you stare long enough, you can see all sorts oft things moving around up there. I don’t think that all the moving things are man made. They just move too fast. Sometimes, when I look at the stars I see things fly by, and they fly so fast and high that I don’t know what to think. What are they? They could be satellites, I guess. Maybe they are really high flying planes that can circle the earth if a few seconds. Or maybe, all it is stuff burning us as it enters out atmosphere. Making a strand of light as it burns up entering our zone. I would be naive to think that we are the only ones out there. Could it me something… not of this world.
